Like Your Daughter

If men would treat their girlfriend, wife or lover the way they would want a young man to treat their teenage daughter, men and women would get along a lot better and relationships would last, perhaps forever.

Gentle, understanding, protective, supportive, adoring, honest, faithful, tender, loving, equal, respectful and most of all, a friend, are qualities that come to mind I would want a young man to have if he was courting my daughter.

Men want the “perfect man” for their daughter. If they would become the “perfect man” for the women in their lives, men wouldn’t be from Mars and Woman wouldn’t be from Venus, we’d all be earthlings.

When I call a person a friend, it’s about a person that I know that I would be there for and who would be there for me in a time of need.

 

It’s also a person who understands and respects what I stand for, even if they understand there is an opposing face to what I represent.

 

A friend is the person who doesn’t support the opposite face while pretending to be a person close to me and in my corner simply to serve himself.

 

Friends are not like an Ostrich; heads in the sand sicken me.

 

Friends like that are easy to walk away from and forget; quickly.

Hi, I’m Joe Sutton, host of the Heart of Hollywood.

 

Those words are like music to my heart and soul.

 

I interview the most talented, important and well known figures in the magic world known as Hollywood and have the opportunity to let the world know the magical good that Hollywood does, far beyond the films and television shows we produce.  The magic of Podcasting enables anyone in the world with a computer the ability to listen to my interviews; what a miracle. 

 

Almost every actor, producer, director, writer, agent, studio executive, etc., has a charity or cause that they support with all their strength and ability and raise millions, if not billions of dollars for Charities that are so in need of their fund raising capacities.  Jerry Lewis alone is the shining star for all the money and awareness he has brought to the fore in his battle to cure Muscular Dystrophy.

 

The real Hollywood isn’t the land of gossip and rumor that most of the world looks to discover, it is the land of giving, from a few for many, that so enamors me of my city and the industry that I am a part of.

 

I believe in being good, doing good and creating good.  That’s why you hear a smile in my voice every time I say, “Hi, I’m Joe Sutton, the host of the Heart of Hollywood.  Welcome.
