TALKING HEADS
I do a radio show called The Heart of Hollywood. It consists of me talking with various people in the entertainment industry about who they are, what they do, why they do it, how they became successful, if they ever wanted to quit and what made them continue on their journey.
It is literally two talking heads discussing what it takes to make it in Hollywood. I have interviewed studio heads and waiters and waitresses: people with dreams and people with dreams that have come true. The stories are all wonderful.
Yesterday I watched a movie, Frost/Nixon, and was mesmerized by the performance of its stars, Frank Langella and Michael Sheen. Their work captivated me with their “talking head” interview scenes.
People have told me that my “talking heads” radio program wouldn’t translate to television. They are wrong. If I do it right, I can make my program as captivating as Frost/Nixon; that’s my job. I’ll keep you posted on how well I do with it.
Imagination is a great thing, all I have to do is to capture it, the imagination of my audience that is.
